Join us in beautifying Charlie Frias Park and the adjacent trails on Saturday, September 11th from 9am-10am. Parking is available on site, registered volunteers will receive a meeting spot map and event details a few days before the event. All ages are welcome, minors without an adult guardian present will need to bring a signed waiver. Waivers will be emailed to registrants prior to the event.
We will provide all the tools and supplies required for the event, including gloves, trash grabbers, trash bags, brooms, and hand sanitizer. Plan ahead for your time outside by wearing comfortable closed toed shoes, bringing plenty of drinking water for yourself, applying sunscreen, and wearing a hat. Volunteers can expect to walk approximately 1 mile on a paved trail route.
The safety of our staff and volunteers is a priority. We ask that all volunteers please wear a face covering, over their nose and mouth, during check-in and for the duration of the event, when social distancing is not possible. Get Outdoors Nevada staff will be wearing a face covering for the duration of the event.
Registered volunteers will receive an email with event details and meeting location. We look forward to seeing you at the cleanup!
